The Graduate School awards Hanna Fellowships to doctoral students in Humanities or Social Sciences who require additional funds in order to complete their dissertation requirements in a timely manner and without significant educational debt.
The Hanna Fellowship is awarded to students in Dissertation Completion Enrollment (DCE), and will provide one semester of DCE tuition, student health plan fees and fellowship stipend at the standard university rates. Awardees may elect to utilize the support in either the Fall Term (August - December) or Spring Term (January - May)..
Funding is intended to support students without other university support in their final year of study. Students who have secured other university financial support through the Graduate School, academic department or campus partner program are not eligible for the Hanna Fellowship.
